December 4, 2008 - The final featured lecturer in the 2008 BCICS and CSEHub Fall Speakers Series: Co-operation and Sustainability was Dr. Mark Sherman, a Family Medicine Physician who co-founded the Victoria Community Health Co-operative. Dr. Sherman discussed the history and development of health-related co-operatives, their current world-wide situation, and explained local initiatives towards expanding health care services and programs such as a virtual health resource center, integrative health services, and establishing a community health centre.
