ANSER Conference Completed

ANSER  held its  annual conference as part of the Congress of the
Humanities and Social Sciences at  Concordia University, June 2 to 4,
2010. Henry Mintzberg of McGill University was the keynote speaker on
Wednesday, June 2nd.

June, 2010 Researcher of the Month – Elizabeth Hicks

Elizabeth Hicks is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Professor in the Business and Tourism Department of Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax. She is a co-applicant of the Social Economy and Sustainability Research Network.

Social Economy Stories – June 2010 – Sue Rickards

Sue Rickards is an educator and community practitioner. She occasionally teaches a course called “Community Practitioners as Agents of Change” in the University of New Brunswick’s (NB) Adult Education program. She was a member of the Community Non-Profi t Task Force which presented a report to the Premier called “New Brunswick Blueprint for Action: Building a Foundation for Self-sufficiency.”
