More than 300 participants from all ten provinces and two territories in Canada, as well as from countries on five continents, gathered in Ottawa to take part in the 2010 National Summit on a People-Centred Economy. Participants heard from engaging keynotes, received messages of support from representatives of all four parties in the House of Commons, debated a joint declaration and announced numerous commitments to act on the recommendations crafted over the two days.
