This action-based research provides a significant opportunity for the Lakeland United Way to become skilled at recruitment strategies for successful board development. This study adhered to Royal Roads Universitys (2004) Research Ethics Policy . These principles guided how I conducted my research and influenced my approach when respectfully interacting with all participants.
